I started doing make up when I was 13 years old on friends and family.  At age 17,  I went to The School of Professional Makeup in Los Angeles.  There I learned guts, gore & beauty makeup and became a freelance makeup artist. I worked with photograpers throughout L.A. and Orange County building my portfolio. I did makeup for socialites and their families. I worked for a photograper that did California Postcards and posters.  Some of my postcards can still be seen in L.A. shops. 

Wanting to expand my education, I went to esthetician school at age 21 in Huntington Beach.  I entered the world of cosmetics Elizabeth Arden  - Shiseido - Christian Dior and Lancome, Borghese and many other skin care lines. I became the head makeup artist/skin care guru and was the event coordinator for Elizabeth Arden and Borghese. I managed big events at some of the finest hotels and malls in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Francisco.  I then had my amazing daughter ALEX and moved to a slower paced life in Northern California where I began my esthetician career at Essential Skin & Body with Barbara Cooney FNP.  Now, 25 years later, I own StoneHouse Spa.  We have been here since December 2013.
